Every carrier has its own interface for customs data, and each returns different documents. Fulfillment 4 weclapp translates your weclapp data into what each carrier expects: line items with tariff number, country of origin and value, freight costs, invoice reference. Described honestly, including the limits: customs clearance itself stays with the carrier, and where a carrier doesn't yet have electronic transmission, it gets the papers from weclapp until we have added the interface.

What applies to all

Customs path only outside the EU customs union: Within the EU, no customs data is created. Exceptions such as the Canary Islands and Madeira are recognized by the app via country and region.

Frequently asked questions

My carrier is listed under "Papers from weclapp". Can I still ship to third countries?

Yes, immediately. The app prints the customs document, invoice and delivery note with the label, and the carrier clears customs based on the papers. If you need electronic transmission, we'll add it for your carrier.

Do I have to maintain something different for each carrier?

No. You maintain the customs data once on the weclapp item, and the app translates it per carrier. Only Österreichische Post additionally needs unit and customs option as item additional fields.
