- Invoice before sales order: the customs value per line is the unit price from the invoice for the shipment. If there is no invoice yet, the app uses the sales order. This way the declared value matches the document that customs sees.
- Shipping costs reported too: the shipping cost line from the invoice or sales order is carried into the customs data as freight costs, for DHL Paket, DHL Express, FedEx, UPS, DPD and GLS. Österreichische Post has no field for this in its interface.
- Bills of materials: if the bundle price is maintained on the parent item, the app declares the parent item; otherwise the components with their own values.
- Several invoices for one shipment: the app selects the invoice via the delivery reference, prefers final invoices over standard and down payment invoices, and aborts if it remains ambiguous. No label with a wrong value.
Customs invoice automatically from weclapp
Your weclapp invoice is the commercial invoice, and the customs values come straight from it
For every shipment to a third country, customs needs a commercial invoice with goods value, quantity and description per line. In weclapp, you already have this invoice. Fulfillment 4 weclapp uses it as the source for the customs data, adds the shipping costs as a separate line and prints the invoice together with the label. Honestly described, including the limits: the app works with the document that weclapp created and doesn't invent a second invoice alongside it; this way accounting and customs always match.
