If no label comes out of the printer at the packing table, the shipment is usually booked correctly anyway: the label is attached to the weclapp delivery, only the path to the paper is interrupted. Fulfillment 4 weclapp hands each print job to weclappOS, and weclappOS passes it to the printer. This checklist goes through the path step by step.

The checklist

Is weclappOS running? The client must be started and logged in on the computer next to the printer. If it is off, print jobs stay open until it runs again.
Does weclappOS still know the printer? If the printer was renamed or reinstalled, select "Update printers and services" in the app and reassign it.
Is the right printer selected? The printer choice is tied to the user account. Without a saved choice, the app takes the first printer in the list. Details: Printers per packing table
Are print jobs stuck in weclapp? If open print jobs are listed there, the problem lies between weclappOS and the printer, not with the carrier.
Reprint instead of rebooking: The app sends each print job exactly once, with no automatic retry. After the disruption, you reprint the label from the event list. Details: Reprinting shipping labels

Printers and format

Labels come as a PDF in 100×150 thermal format. Set the label size in the printer driver accordingly, and the label lands without margin and scaling. A laser printer prints the same PDF.
With Österreichische Post, you choose between 100×150, 100×200, A4 and A5.

Frequently asked questions

Is the shipment booked if the label wasn't printed?

Yes, if the app has completed the delivery. The label is then attached to the weclapp delivery, and you reprint it without a new shipment number.

Why doesn't the app automatically print again?

So that no duplicate labels are created when the printer comes back later and works through all open jobs. If something is missing, you reprint selectively.
