What the GLS integration can do

The integration talks directly to GLS through the ShipIT interface. Shipping labels are created in the packing process as soon as the shipment has been verified by EAN scan. Fulfillment 4 weclapp automatically writes tracking numbers and shipping status back into your weclapp shipment, including for multi-parcel shipments that are bundled into a single ShipIT order.

A sandbox mode allows risk-free testing before the first real label is printed.

Automatic minimum weight correction for very light parcels

If the recorded weight of a shipment falls below the minimum weight required by GLS, the integration corrects the value automatically, with no manual intervention at the packing table and without the shipment being rejected because of it.

This is especially relevant for very light parcels, where the pure item weight could otherwise lead to queries or rejected labels.
