After the initial order creation in weclapp, later transactions such as returns, exchanges or credit notes recorded via Shopify are not carried over into weclapp. This missing synchronization complicates returns management and makes transparent refund control nearly impossible.

Customers register returns via 8Returns, choose between refund or exchange (exchange currently available in DE only) and receive a return label.

Returns management

As soon as the returned items arrive and are scanned, the return is created in weclapp automatically and the stock level is updated accordingly.

Synchronization with 8Returns

The return recorded in weclapp automatically sets the "arrived" flag in 8Returns to complete the return process across systems.

Refund via Shopify

If a refund is triggered manually in 8Returns, the flow automatically creates a corresponding credit note in weclapp. Any differences in shipping costs are shown as a separate item.
