weclapp Skills: Teaching your AI assistant entire ERP workflows

Your AI assistant can do everything in weclapp. But does it follow the correct process?

With wals.pro AI 4 weclapp, your AI assistant works directly in your client: searching for offers, creating articles, booking goods receipts, assigning payments. The catalog includes 51 tools across 146 entities, 35 of which are write actions. And yet, many encounter the same limitation in practice. Your assistant can operate every single tool, but it doesn't know on its own when to use which one in what order.

A toolbox is simply not the same as knowing how to run a clean process. The Skills close exactly this gap.

What is a Skill?

A skill is a workflow package for your AI assistant. It describes a complete weclapp process, not as a single command. Your assistant activates it automatically as soon as your request matches.

The difference in practice: Without a skill, the assistant improvises against a toolbox. With a skill, it follows the process as an experienced colleague would, including the correct sequence, reference checks, and security steps.

The 18 Skills

Job Skill covers
Introduction and Diagnosis Check connection, explain rights, missing tools
Research Schema, reference data, settings, own house rules (SOPs)
Evaluation Search, 360-degree view, aggregate key figures server-side
Data Quality Check master data, gap reports
Sales Lead, offer, order, invoice, PDF
Fulfillment Goods receipt, shipping, partial delivery, cancellation
Warehouse and Logistics Stock correction, stock transfer, transport order, internal delivery
Scheduling Check range and reorder point, order proposal per supplier
Purchasing and Payment Order, invoice verification, payment reconciliation
Master Data Articles, images, sources of supply
CSV Import Build import files for the import-export wizard and check them beforehand
Tasks and Service Tasks, tickets, comments, activity history
Time and Contracts Time tracking, contracts and recurring billing
Documents and Governance Attachments, house rules (SOPs), authorizations

That's 18 skills in total. Individual record changes are covered by a separate skill for the long tail.

The CSV import has had the biggest "aha" moment in our project practice. During an onboarding, the preparation of import files in dialogue with the assistant saved about a work week that would otherwise have been spent on CSV cleanup.

The Decisive Factor: Security is Built-in

Every writing skill incorporates the same discipline, not as a recommendation, but as a fixed process:

  1. First, read. The assistant reads the current status before making any changes.
  2. Show preview. Every change is presented as a preview: what changes, what remains.
  3. Wait for approval. No write operation without your explicit OK. The approval is payload-bound via SHA-256 and applies to exactly this action with exactly these values.
  4. Check result. After writing, the assistant reads the record again and confirms.

Graphic with the heading The same process is embedded in every skill and four stations: Read, Preview, Approval, Check.

Every call lands in the audit log, and there are no deletion tools for your business data. This also applies if you let the assistant work alone. The rule "The AI suggests. You decide." is therefore not just a marketing promise, but wired into every skill and secured by the platform's approval logic.

Vendor-Neutral: One Skill, Many Clients

The skills follow the open Agent Skills standard. Eleven AI clients are supported, including Claude, OpenAI Codex, VS Code, and Microsoft Copilot Studio. ChatGPT and Cursor are currently under review. No lock-in to an AI provider: You decide which assistant you use to control weclapp, and you take your process knowledge with you. Your AI subscription remains your contract.

How to Get the Skills

Register at ai.wals.pro, connect weclapp, connect AI assistants via OAuth 2.1. You will then find the Skills page in your account. In Claude, you keep the skills automatically updated via a plugin; for the other clients, you download the package and place it in the Skills folder. The skill activates itself automatically with the next suitable task. Your own house rules are added as Tenant SOPs from Pro.

What's Next

The 18 are not the end. Next, we will refine the triggers of the individual skills based on real usage and extend the research to include the weclapp documentation search. The direction remains: not to give the assistant more tools, but to teach it more professions. This is an outlook; scope and timing may change.
