Wholesale: How do I model prices and payment terms?

According to the feature table, weclapp's pricing system covers tiered prices, customer-specific prices, header and line discounts, and multiple currencies, in all three packages. According to the weclapp help, you set up payment terms as payment conditions, for example "10 days 2% discount, 30 days net". Blanket orders in sales exist according to the weclapp help; we clarify the package and maturity in advance. The pricing page lists the feature row "Order management with prepayment, partial payment, and down payment" only from ERP Dienstleistung (Services) upward, and warehouse and merchandise management only in the Handel (Trade) package.

The big picture: ERP for online merchants and wholesalers.

What the pricing system covers

In wholesale, the price depends on customer, quantity, sales channel, and currency. The feature table on the weclapp pricing page lists for the pricing system: multiple currencies, tiered prices, sales channels, header and line discounts, price calculation, and customer-specific prices.

The pricing system is included in all three packages. The pricing page, however, lists the feature row "Order management with prepayment, partial payment, and down payment" only from ERP Dienstleistung (Services) upward. Anyone who stores and purchases goods needs the Handel package. ERP Handel costs €163 per user per month with annual billing, net (weclapp list price, as of October 2026).

This is what the path looks like according to the weclapp help: you create tiered prices on the item under "Sales prices" or import them. They depend on the quantity per order and customer. A price for just one customer or sales channel you save in the document via the lock icon. Customer-specific discounts are maintained on the customer, per product group. It is not described in which order tier, customer price, and discount apply. You check that in advance in the tenant with real sample items.

Payment terms and dunning

A payment term means: you deliver today, and your customer pays in 14, 30, or 60 days. In weclapp, you set up payment conditions for this, for example "10 days 2% discount, 30 days net", in one, two, or several stages. Invoice date plus days gives the due date.

According to the help, "due on the 15th of the month" or "50% down payment" cannot be modeled as a payment condition. As workarounds, the help names: setting the due date in the invoice manually, creating a down payment or partial payment order, or modeling installments by splitting the open item.

You select the condition in the document. Whether and how it can be stored on the customer and carried over into new invoices, you check in advance in a test system. After that, the dunning run and late-payment interest calculation apply (all three packages). Interest rates and dunning fees are legal questions.

For the handover to DATEV, according to the weclapp help: the interface only supports payment conditions with at most two terms, and purchase invoices are transferred without discount information. If you have conditions with more than two terms, clarify the route in advance with your tax advisor. This does not replace legal or tax advice.

Framework agreements

Framework agreements with customers on quantity and period are common in wholesale. According to the weclapp help (as of July 6, 2026), you can create blanket orders in sales and generate call-off orders from them. The help does not say which package they belong to or how mature they are; we clarify both in advance with weclapp.

To be separated from this is the blanket purchase order in purchasing, meaning the call-off from your supplier: according to the feature table on the pricing page, it is only in the ERP Handel package.

Shop and B2B invoice

Shopify B2B has payment terms per company location (Net 7 to Net 90 or due on delivery), on all Shopify plans (Shopify Help Center, as of October 11, 2026). There is no Net 14 there.

According to the feature table on the pricing page, the shop integration is included from ERP Dienstleistung (Services) upward, the marketplace integration only in ERP Handel; the package card lists both under ERP Handel. More on this: Keeping inventory and orders in sync.

With order transfer enabled, the order lands in the ERP through the integration. Whether prices and payment terms from Shopify arrive there unchanged is not described in the weclapp documentation on the Shopify integration; that belongs in testing. Whether Shopify's invoice email meets the requirements for invoices and e-invoices is something you clarify with your tax advisor. This page is a guide, not tax advice.

Invoice and e-invoice

Writing e-invoices (E-Rechnung) is part of all weclapp packages according to the pricing page, in the XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, and UBL formats (according to weclapp).

Every domestic company has had to be able to receive e-invoices since January 1, 2025. Until December 31, 2026, you may still issue another type of invoice instead of an e-invoice (a PDF by email only with the recipient's consent). After that, 2027 or 2028 applies depending on prior-year revenue.

Our inference, not legal advice: B2B orders from domestic business customers placed through a shop are covered as well. Source: German Federal Ministry of Finance, as of March 2026. This does not replace tax advice.

Example: A fictional wholesaler with 800 business customers

The example is made up: 800 business customers, payment terms of 14, 30, and 60 days, tiered prices from 100 units.

Customer price and tier. A regular customer orders 120 units. The item has a tier from 100 units, and a custom price is saved in the document for the customer. Which one wins, you check in advance with this case.

Payment term. The customer has 60 days; you select the condition in the document. If payment doesn't arrive, the dunning run takes over.

Invoice. The invoice is created in the ERP. Whether the wholesaler already has to issue e-invoices in 2027 depends on their prior-year revenue.

When is this not a fit?

A fit: an ERP is worth a closer look

  • You have many business customers with their own prices, tiers, or payment terms.
  • You store and purchase goods and need the Handel package.
  • Invoices should be created in the system.

Not a fit: clarify first or solve it differently

  • You need payment conditions like "due on the 15th of the month". According to the help, those cannot be modeled.
  • You don't store goods yourself and don't need merchandise management. In that case, a smaller solution may be enough.

Frequently asked questions

How do tiered prices and customer prices work in weclapp?

According to the weclapp help, tiered prices depend on the quantity per order and customer. You maintain them on the item under "Sales prices" or import them. A price for just one customer or sales channel you save in the document; the previous price is ended in the process. How tier, customer price, and discount interact, you test in advance in the tenant.

Which weclapp package do I need as a wholesaler?

The pricing system is included in all three packages. The pricing page lists the feature row "Order management with prepayment, partial payment, and down payment" from ERP Dienstleistung (Services) upward. Anyone who stores and purchases goods needs the Handel package: merchandise management, planning, warehouse management, purchase ordering, and deliveries are only available there. ERP Handel costs €163 per user per month with annual billing, net (weclapp list price, as of October 2026).

Are there blanket orders in sales?

Yes, according to the weclapp help (as of July 6, 2026), you can create blanket orders in sales and generate call-off orders from them. The feature table on the pricing page has no separate row for this. Which package they belong to and how mature they are, we clarify in advance with weclapp.

Can I store payment terms per customer?

In the document, yes. You set up payment conditions under Global settings, for example 10 days 2% discount, 30 days net. They determine the due date of the invoice. Whether they can be stored on the customer and carried over automatically into new invoices, you check in advance in the test system. Conditions like "due on the 15th of the month" are not possible as a payment condition; for down payments, the help names workarounds such as a down payment or partial payment order. This does not replace tax advice.

Does Shopify B2B have payment terms?

Yes, per company location, from Net 7 to Net 90 or due on delivery, on all Shopify plans (Shopify Help Center, as of October 11, 2026). There is no Net 14. Whether the Shopify invoice email meets the requirements for invoices and e-invoices is something you clarify with your tax advisor. This page is a guide, not tax advice.

Do I already have to issue e-invoices as a wholesaler?

Not at the moment. Until December 31, 2026, every issuer may issue another type of invoice instead of an e-invoice, for example a PDF (by email only with the recipient's consent). You must issue e-invoices from January 1, 2027 if your prior-year revenue was above €800,000, otherwise from January 1, 2028. You have had to be able to receive them since January 1, 2025. Exempt are, among others, invoices to end consumers and small amounts up to €250 gross. Source: German Federal Ministry of Finance, as of March 2026. This does not replace tax advice.
