On autopilot in 7 weeks with weclapp, Pulpo WMS & 4Fulfillment
Monday, 7:42 a.m., peak season. 8,000 new orders overnight. Previously, this meant: extra shifts, Excel sprints, label chaos.
Today: weclapp orchestrates, Pulpo WMS manages the >10,000 m² warehouse space, 4Fulfillment decides the carrier logic – and shipping runs without an additional click .
Neudorff ePerformances fully automated the Neudorff Group's online retail business from order placement to shipping in just seven weeks – right on schedule.

Starting point: Growth needs a pacemaker
The existing ERP system could no longer keep pace with the growth: increasing order volumes, complex labeling rules, many special cases across multiple channels.
The target vision is therefore clear: Consolidate all channels – multiple Shopify stores , Amazon , OTTO Marketplace , Kaufland and eBay – bundle orders , centrally manage inventory and fully automate processes .
The turning point: Instead of patching up individual construction sites, an architecture with clear roles emerged, stable during peaks of up to >100,000 orders/month .

Architecture with clarity: Orchestration vs. Operation
- weclapp as a hub : channels, orders, inventory and rules centrally consolidated.
- Pulpo WMS for operational warehouse control : picking, packing, and retrieval on >10,000 m².
- 4Fulfillment as a label engine : Carrier connection (including DHL), label logic and special cases centrally managed.
Why this is beneficial: Orchestration and operations are clearly separated. This prevents failures, simplifies monitoring, and maintains stability under load.

Shipping on autopilot: 4Fulfillment as a label engine
Standard processes run robustly (address transferred → label returned), including special cases :
- Amazon Vendor Direct : Shipping labels are first stored in weclapp for the order and retrieved and printed just-in-time from Pulpo WMS via 4Fulfillment when shipping.
- Direct carrier integration (e.g. DHL) and centralized label logic ensure that rules are defined once and used across all channels .
- Implementation of Vendor-Direct in collaboration with KhooCommerce .
Result: A formerly manual, special process now runs in an integrated, auditable, and scalable manner .

Intelligence in Flow: Rules & AI Address Verification
- A rule-based engine selects the optimal shipping method (weight, destination, service level, channel) for each order.
- The AI address check verifies addresses against the carrier database and automatically corrects typical formatting errors (wrong field, special characters, spaces).
- Only genuine cases requiring clarification – e.g., missing postal codes – are processed manually .
This shifts error prevention early into the process and reduces queries, returns and delays.

The end-to-end flow in 6 steps
- Channel input : Orders from Shopify, Amazon, OTTO, Kaufland, eBay
- Consolidation in weclapp : Rules are applied, inventory is reserved.
- Order release : Handover to Pulpo WMS
- Warehouse process : Pick & Pack by waves, scanner-supported
- Label & Carrier : 4Fulfillment selects shipping method, generates label, writes data back
- Feedback : Tracking & status to weclapp and (where applicable) to the sales channel

Results:
- Consolidated control in weclapp – a robust foundation for volumes of this magnitude
- Special processes are integrated (including Amazon Vendor Direct) instead of manual workarounds.
- AI address verification reduces errors preventively.
- 4Fulfillment standardizes label and carrier logic – auditable, scalable
