n8n weclapp Autopilot

Order processing that runs automatically.

The autopilot takes care of the routine work for you: automatically create order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices – cyclically, plug & play, and suitable for e-commerce.

What does the autopilot do for you?

  1. Preparation before order confirmation: You can adjust the shipping method, notes, and payment/workflow rules before the order confirmation is created.
  2. Automatically generate AB: Smooth transition into your fulfillment process.
  3. Create delivery note automatically: Immediately – or later , as soon as goods are available again (ideal for partial/subsequent deliveries).
  4. Create invoice: After goods are dispatched, the flow generates standard invoices fully automatically and closes them if desired.

Why it convinces

Robust in everyday use: The template is tried and tested and is already in use by many companies.

Standardized out-of-the-box, but flexible: You can customize rules, status filters, texts, and carriers in minutes as needed.

Requirements

  • n8n (we recommend self-hosting via Hostinger - use the following referral link to get 20% off the annual subscription)
  • weclapp with REST API and rights for orders, deliveries, invoices

Step 1 – Import workflow

  1. Import into n8n Import from File/URL and n8n 4 weclapp Autopilot .
  2. The workflow is initially deactivated – and that’s a good thing.
  3. After the import, nodes display a red triangle (missing credentials). You'll fix this in the next step.

Step 2 – Enter credentials

  1. Create credentials : weclapp API : HTTP credential with API token and base URL (header application/json). (Optional) Carrier : API key/token of your shipping provider.
  2. Open each node with a red triangle once , select credential , save.

→ The triangle disappears; the connection is established.

Step 3 – Basic configuration

Adjust the configuration in the "Edit Fields" node at the very beginning of the flow

  • API connection: WECLAPP_BASE_URL and token (only in credentials)
  • Sales channel filter : which orders are processed is defined based on the sales channel filter
  • Rules before AB the flow can map shipping method, notes, payment/workflow logic before the AB if required
  • Invoice logic : After delivery, the standard invoice is automatically created and posted, except in the excluded sales channels
  • Set up notifications (email/Slack) for error cases as a separate flow (optional)

Step 4 – Set schedule (CRON)

  • Open the Schedule Trigger node and select the interval (default is every 5 minutes ).
  • Save.

Step 5 – Test & Go Live

  1. Create a test order in weclapp.
  2. Execute workflow manually and check result: AB → delivery note (possibly later during replenishment) → (optional label) → delivery → invoice → completion .
  3. Check executions/logs , test error path (on-error to mail/Slack).
  4. Activate workflow .
